Institute for Adult Learning
When Institute for Adult Learning approached us, they wanted to revamp their website which was dated in design, cluttered and unintuitive for users. There were also multiple groups of users and it was important to address all their different needs without having overcluttered web pages. It was difficult to identify upcoming courses and their schedules and the mobile view was difficult to navigate.
Our goal was to improve the user experience for learners and corporates who wanted to upskill their employees by making it easier to find information as well as enrol and stay updated on upcoming courses. There were multiple systems to integrate and custom development was required to build a learner's web portal. There was also challenges in meeting a tight deadline.
First, we conducted a full UI/UX study by gathering website analytic data, user interviews as well as online surveys. We crafted the different personas, their user journey maps to identify pain points and opportunities to improve the UI/UX.
Next, we developed high fidelity prototypes and tested the prototypes with multiple users from the different personas to gather their feedback.
Lastly, we crafted a bespoke website design with modern interface, sleek mico-animations and interactivity provides a much improved user interface and experience. All the icons are fully customised following the similar styles across the website for a uniform look and feel.
Outcome
End users mentioned that the new website was far more intuitive, mobile responsive and admin stakeholders found maintaining the website content to be much superior compared to the previous CMS.
