Brief & Challenge:
NIE wanted the new website to adopt an on-brand and professional style whilst featuring its core STEM elements – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The main challenge was to create a web design that clearly reflects the 4 STEM elements and allow visitors to immediately relate the website to the its core branding. It was also important to drive signups for workshops and encourage target audience to submit their entries to take part in the competition.

Solution & Outcome
Aligning to the Client’s requirements and preferences, the outcome was a vibrant & visually appealing website that features STEM elements such as particle animations on the main banner, graphic elements on images as well as STEM-related icon designs. We also incorporated attractive images that are related to the competition theme – Sustainable Energy. Colour gradations reflecting colours in the logo were also used in the CTA buttons and hover animations.
The final website design came out to be what the Client envisioned it to look like and received great feedback from the team, as it was attractive and reflected the STEM brand identity. The target audience also actively submitted entries for the competition.
