Acquiring Users Effectively With iPaymy
About The Client
iPaymy is Asia’s first one-stop online platform that provides Tenants, Agents and Landlords with an easy and secure way to make and receive rent payments, keep track of lease obligations and co-ordinate property maintenance.
Being a fairly new platform, iPaymy needed a way to quickly build up a list of qualified users which they could market to as well as prove their concept to investors. Before we stepped in, they were using Facebook Advertisements and Google Adwords but were not seeing good results.
Facebook Advertising Strategy
Develop a robust Facebook Advertising strategy to convert traffic into users.
Use email marketing sequences to introduce the iPaymy platform to users as well as provide incentives to get users to do more and share the contests, helping the contest to go viral.
Conceptualizing and Planning
iPaymy wanted to run a lucrative Maldives holiday lucky draw contest to acquire users. As the campaign was a fairly short one, we came up with a comprehensive Facebook Advertising strategy to target various demographics based on their current list of users.
We identified 2 core groups of users which are mainly expats as welll as mile enthusiasts. As their behavior and motivations are different, we developed different ad copies and well as landing pages to better each group.

The main objective is to attract users through Facebook Advertising to inform them of the contest and following up with email marketing to get them to actually use the platform. We focused on Facebook Ads as the contest is a highly visual campaign which relies on beautiful images of the resort island to attract users.

Reaching The Desired Audience
We crafted multiple customized Facebook ads (some examples below), where we tweaked multiple advertising copies to determine the kind of message that drives users to take action of entering the contest or signing up for iPaymy with directed links. We also made use of their current list to generate a highly targeted audience with the Lookalike Audience of potential customers and further narrowed the audience with specific demographic settings.

To target the audiences effectively, we assisted iPaymy with the direction and creatives in crafting landing pages for the contest. As it is a short term contest with a clear and distinct objective of generating qualified leads, the landing pages for advertisements are designed with attractive images of Maldives and the resort with the information about the contest. Landing pages from other sources are designed to not only have contest information but also explain the platform and provide tools to assist users in seeing the benefits of using the iPaymy platform.
